TTBID 2025-2035
Visit Truckee-Tahoe manages the Truckee Tourism Business Improvement District (TTBID), which provides dedicated funding for destination marketing, stewardship programs, and visitor education. Originally established in 2015, the TTBID is funded by a 1.25% self-assessment fee on lodging stays within Truckee's town limits.
Advocacy in Action
Visit Truckee-Tahoe advocates on behalf of Truckee’s tourism and lodging sectors to support strategic infrastructure, environmental resilience, wildfire preparedness, and equitable economic development. Our team submits public comments, writes letters of support, and engages with local and regional decision-makers.

Upcoming Meetings
Visit Truckee-Tahoe Board meetings are open to the public and conducted in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act, California’s open meeting law. We welcome public participation and are committed to transparency in how we operate and make decisions.
How to Provide Public Comment:
- In Writing: Submit written public comments or request past meeting minutes using our Contact Us Form.
- In Person: Speak directly to the Board during any scheduled meeting. Public comment is limited to three minutes per person.
- If your comment is related to a non-agendized item, you will be invited to speak at the beginning of the meeting.
- The Board will not engage in discussion on non-agendized items, per Brown Act requirements.
