Transparency & Accountability to Our Community

Visit Truckee-Tahoe is committed to transparent leadership, public accountability, and strong advocacy for Truckee’s tourism and lodging industry. As a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, we are governed by an independent Board of Directors and operate in full compliance with California’s Brown Act, ensuring that all meetings and decisions are open to the public.

TTBID 2025-2035

Visit Truckee-Tahoe manages the Truckee Tourism Business Improvement District (TTBID), which provides dedicated funding for destination marketing, stewardship programs, and visitor education. Originally established in 2015, the TTBID is funded by a 1.25% self-assessment fee on lodging stays within Truckee's town limits.
