North Lake Tahoe 4th of July Drone Light Shows - POSTPONED
North Lake Tahoe's 4th of July Drone Shows are POSTPONED due to weather. Aviation forecasts call for winds and wind gusts at flight levels to be significantly higher than allowable limits for the drones to safely fly over Lake Tahoe. Shows are planned to be rescheduled for Labor Day Weekend.
After a two year Independence Day fireworks hiatus, North Lake Tahoe is resuming celebrations in a new way - swapping traditional pyrotechnic fireworks displays for drone light shows! The shows will feature custom performances up to 15 minutes in length and choreographed to music. Both will take place over Lake Tahoe, with over 100 drones taking off from and returning to shore at the conclusion of the shows.
