Skip the Parking Hassle

Truckee Thursdays is designed to be easy to access without driving downtown. Visitors are encouraged to use free shuttles, bike valet, BCycle e-bikes, walk, or carpool.

Free Event Shuttle

Free neighborhood shuttles run throughout the evening from:

  • Tahoe Donner
  • Donner Lake
  • Glenshire
  • Prosser
  • Sierra Meadows
  • Northstar

Shuttles operate approximately every 25 to 45 minutes with return service after the event.

Bike Valet

Ride your bike or e-bike downtown and use the free monitored bike valet during the event. It’s convenient, sustainable, and helps reduce traffic congestion.

BCycle E-Bikes

Explore Truckee by e-bike with Truckee BCycle, the town’s shared electric bike program featuring approximately 50 pedal assist e-bikes and docking stations located throughout Truckee, from Donner Lake to downtown and along the Truckee River Legacy Trail.

BCycle stations make it easy to ride to Truckee Thursdays without worrying about parking. Simply unlock a bike through the BCycle app and dock it at stations around town.

Absolutely. Truckee Thursdays is designed for all ages with music, food, shopping, and activities for kids and families.

Is there parking downtown?

Parking is limited. Visitors are encouraged to use free shuttles, bike valet, walk, or carpool.

Are dogs allowed?

Leashed, well behaved dogs are welcome at Truckee Thursdays, but crowds, music, and warm pavement can be a lot for some pups. If your dog is anxious, reactive, or uncomfortable in busy settings, they’ll probably have a better night relaxing at home.

Is bike parking available?

Yes. Free bike valet service is available during event hours.

What should I bring?

Comfortable shoes, layers for cool mountain evenings, reusable water bottles, and your appetite.
