Join the Truckee River Watershed Council for the 31st Annual Truckee River Day & Fair on Sunday, October 18.
Each year, hundreds of volunteers come together at restoration projects throughout the watershed to repair and restore important natural areas. Projects are designed for a variety of ages and abilities and may include planting native vegetation, improving meadow conditions and helping protect sensitive habitat.
After a day of working alongside friends and neighbors, volunteers are invited to celebrate at the Truckee River Day Fair at Granite Flat Campground from 1 PM to 4 PM. Enjoy live entertainment, environmental education activities, art projects and a meal.
It’s a great opportunity to get outside, give back to the landscapes that make Truckee special and learn more about the work being done to protect the Truckee River watershed.
