Truckee Community Lantern Walk

Bundle up and bring a little light to the Truckee Community Lantern Walk, a peaceful autumn tradition for all ages.

Families, friends and neighbors will gather at dusk at Dewbeyumuwe Park before setting out on a short walk along the Truckee River Legacy Trail. Glowing lanterns will wind along the river as participants walk and sing together.

Rooted in a centuries-old autumn tradition, the Lantern Walk offers a simple and memorable way to gather as a community as the days grow shorter.
