Join Eben Swain, Project Director of Restoration for the Truckee River Watershed Council, to learn about the restoration of Euer Valley and Tahoe Donner’s Coyote Crossing Bridge.
In partnership with Tahoe Donner, the project addresses decades of landscape disturbance caused by historic grazing and timber harvesting in the valley. Eben will share stories and photos from the bridge construction and explain how restoration efforts are helping repair more than 150 years of environmental impacts.
The talk is part of the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Center’s Winter Speaker Series, which features speakers covering environmental topics, mountain culture, and outdoor expertise.
Drinks and après specials will be available from Alder Creek Café starting at 5:15 PM, and the Trailside Bar will be open with happy hour pricing on beer and wine during the event.
