Disco Tubing at Palisades Tahoe
- Jan 31
- 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Light up the night with tubing, tunes and neon vibes at Palisades Tahoe’s Disco Tubing — a glowing winter adventure you’ll want to ride again.
Hosted by the SNOW Sports Museum in partnership with Sugar Bowl Resort, Ski History Day is a special small-group experience exploring Sugar Bowl’s 88 years of winter sports history, from California’s first chairlift to the pioneers, innovators, and Olympians who shaped skiing in the Sierra.
Your day begins with a welcome gathering in the newly remodeled lodge with coffee and pastries, followed by a guided on-mountain history tour led by Greg Jones, Elissa Hambrecht, and Sugar Bowl staff. Prefer to stay indoors? Guests can also remain in the lodge to enjoy photos and artifacts and share Sugar Bowl memories.
After the tour, return to the lodge for lunch and a multimedia ski history presentation featuring historic images, rare archival footage, and stories from the SNOW Sports Museum collection.
Space is intentionally limited and this event is expected to sell out.
