A trail-running rite of passage: five scenic loops through the protected Royal Gorge land near Soda Springs, weaving through the Granite Chief Wilderness, the Pacific Crest, and the awe‑inspiring gorge of the North Fork American River. Starting around 6,800 ft and climbing over 4,300 ft, the 26‑mile course is mostly singletrack (85%), with a shared central aid station that fuels both body and community. Solo runners can embrace the full marathon, or team up as a Partner or 5‑Person Relay. It’s rugged, radiant, and unmistakably Truckee.
