The Pain McShlonkey Classic returns to Palisades Tahoe for a day of belly laughs, outrageous costumes, and high energy mountain antics in honor of legendary skier Shane McConkey.
This one of a kind event combines celebration and philanthropy, bringing the community together for the iconic Hot Dog Downhill, live music, and a full day of fun on the slopes. Participants dress in their most ridiculous ski gear and compete in a race that’s as entertaining as it is unforgettable.
Held in partnership with the Shane McConkey Foundation, the event supports environmental and humanitarian causes while celebrating Shane’s legacy of creativity, humor, and love for the mountains.
Whether you’re competing or cheering from the sidelines, expect a lively atmosphere, big costumes, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
