MTB Trail Techniques Skills Series

Progress your mountain biking skills with this multi-week series focused on foundational techniques and trail application. Hosted in partnership with Sierra College, each session builds on key skills like balance, braking, cornering, and bike control through a mix of drills and real-world riding.

Designed for riders of all levels, this series offers a supportive environment to improve technique, build confidence, and ride more efficiently on Truckee’s trails.

Dates: Tuesdays 4 sessions from 5/13/26-6/3/26

• Wk 1-Fundamentals (Balance/Gearing/ Body Bike Separation/Key movements, Braking)
• Wk 2-Cornering/Switchbacks
• Wk3- Wheel lifts (front and rear)/ Bunny Hops/
• Wk4- Putting it all together with the essential progressions of each skill
