A chance for local residents to experience one of Tahoe’s most unforgettable adventures
Alpenglow Expeditions is bringing back Local’s Day on the Tahoe Via Ferrata, offering local residents the opportunity to apply for a free guided tour on the Tahoe Via Ferrata this spring.
Set high above Olympic Valley, the Tahoe Via Ferrata combines hiking, climbing, and traversing across dramatic granite terrain using fixed cables and mountain pathways, delivering incredible views and a one-of-a-kind Sierra adventure.
Applicants who live within 30 miles of the Tahoe Via Ferrata are invited to apply for a complimentary 4-hour guided experience. Selected participants will be notified in May and asked to make a $25 donation per party to support Tahoe Nordic Search & Rescue.
