One of North Tahoe’s favorite winter traditions returns as the Kings Beach SNOWFEST Parade & Palooza brings colorful floats, costumed crews, live music, and activities hosted by more than 30 local organizations and businesses to downtown Kings Beach.
The day begins at 8:00 AM with the NTPUD Pancake Breakfast and continues with pop up events, live entertainment, shopping specials, family activities, and community fun throughout town. Expect everything from a dress up your dog contest and Mardi Gras mask making to trivia and music.
The parade takes place from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, traveling east on State Route 28 from Secline Street to Raccoon Street. The announcing stand and judges table will be located near the King Building by the Bear Street roundabout. State Route 28 will be closed to vehicle traffic from SR 267 to Fox Street during the parade.
Long time community leader Joy Doyle will serve as the 2026 Grand Marshal in recognition of her decades of dedication to Kings Beach and North Lake Tahoe.
