Flights of Imagination in the Night Sky: Writing Workshop & Brunch

Turn your eyes to the night sky—and your imagination to the page. Join Nevada County Poet Laureate Karen Terrey for a creative writing workshop inspired by the stars, the night sky and our place within the larger natural world.

Part of Truckee’s Keep It Dark Astrotourism Weekend, Flights of Imagination in the Night Sky welcomes writers, photographers and night-sky admirers of all experience levels. Through writing prompts, conversation and creative exploration, participants will consider connections between our personal lives, the natural world and the larger planetary story.

The workshop is designed to be supportive and accessible, whether you write regularly or simply want to try something new. Bring an open mind and your curiosity—coffee, tea and breakfast goodies will be provided.
