Please note: The Donner Lake Witch Paddle has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 17 due to high winds forecast for the original event date.

Come haunt Donner Lake! Witches, warlocks and kindred spirits are invited to gather at Dog Beach for a magical morning on the water.

The morning begins with a New Moon-inspired community ritual centered around reflection, intention and new beginnings before witches take to the lake for the annual paddle. Costumes are strongly encouraged—bring your best witchy attire, your paddlecraft and plenty of spooky spirit.

Give Back: Cloak (Coat) Drive

This year’s gathering also includes a “Cloak” Drive benefiting Truckee Community Cares. Bring a coat to donate and help share a little warmth with neighbors in need.

The organizers hope the morning is about more than the spectacle of costumed paddlers—it’s also a chance to connect, reflect and give back to the Truckee community.
