Two days of endurance, epic scenery, and pure Sierra spirit. Saturday kicks off with the Sprint Triathlon and Kids races—a .25-mile alpine swim, a six-mile bike along Donner Pass Road, and a breezy 2-mile lakeside run.
Sunday turns up the challenge with Olympic, Half (70.3), Aquabike, Duathlon, and Open Water Swim events. The half-Iron course features a climb toward Donner Pass, rolling descents, and a scenic run through trails and roadways near Donner Memorial State Park.
More than a race, it’s a lakeside celebration where athletes, families, and the community come together for competition by day and laid-back Truckee vibes by night.
