North Lake Tahoe

(20-30 minutes)

Paddle at sunrise, relax on sandy beaches, or explore charming towns like Tahoe City and Kings Beach. North Lake Tahoe blends natural beauty with laid-back lakeside charm. A must-visit spot is Sand Harbor, known for its crystal-clear water, smooth granite boulders, and unbeatable views. It's the perfect day trip for swimming, kayaking, and photography.

More than casinos and desert lights, Reno’s Riverwalk District and Midtown are buzzing with art, food, and live music. Plus, it’s your go-to for airport access and big-city amenities.

Sierraville & Downieville

(45–60 minutes)

Tips: Book ahead for hot spring access; Downieville Downhill is for experienced riders and is best experienced by reserving a shuttle.

Nevada City

A Gold Rush town with cobblestone charm, indie shops, and creative energy. Enjoy live music, local eats, and forested hikes just outside town. On the way, stop at the Emerald Pools—a series of crystal-clear swimming holes along the South Yuba River—perfect for a summer dip.
