State Route 20 in Nevada County is Open with One-Way Traffic Controls in Effect at White Cloud and Lowell Hill Segments

Motorists are reminded one-way traffic controls remain in effect at both the White Cloud and Lowell Hill segments. Work is scheduled to take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with occasional work on Sundays, through mid-November.

Emergency Pavement Repairs Along Interstate 80: Max 2 Hour Delay

Emergency pavement repairs have begun along Interstate 80. Expect lane closures and delays at several locations between Colfax and the Nevada state line in Placer, Nevada, and Sierra counties. Delays may be up to 2 hours while repairs are underway at all 5 locations. Portable message signs will be in place at key locations to inform motorists of the extended lane closures. Fixed changeable message signs are also in place to notify motorists and direct regional traffic to use alternate routes around the work zone.

WEEKLY UPDATE: Read about work scheduled for the week of Nov 6th. Caltrans is reminding motorists of various lane and ramp closures along Interstate 80 (I-80) as emergency repairs continue in Placer and Nevada counties. The weather forecast is expected to impact work for the week of November 5. As a result, crews are scheduled for mainly minor repairs.

Truckee-Tahoe Ski Area Reservations-Based Parking Programs for Winter 2023/24

Palisades Tahoe and Northstar California are implementing new parking plans for the 2023/24 winter season which involve a combination of free and paid parking reservations and carpool incentives. These programs are aimed at mitigating traffic and road congestion for a better experience for guests and employees, and reducing the impact on the Truckee-Tahoe community.
