Lake Tahoe - 13 miles from Historic Downtown Truckee

A natural wonder! Lake Tahoe’s clear, emerald water is a sight every Truckee visitor needs to behold. From Truckee, the day trip typically takes less than 30 minutes via Hwy 267 or Hwy 89 South. For a unique experience, explore the 72-mile Lake Tahoe Water Trail on a paddleboard or kayak. Please remember to Leave No Trace and take care of this special place.

Donner Lake - 3 miles from Historic Downtown Truckee
