Our town is located in the heart of Northern California's Sierra Nevada mountain range at an elevation of 5,817 ft, just a short 20 minute drive from the shores of Lake Tahoe. Summer months are warm and dry, with clear skies and pleasant temps. Winter months are what skiers and riders dream of - sunny bluebird skies and deep snow. Spring and fall, known by locals as "shoulder seasons," are typically sunny and beautiful, punctuated by occasional snow or rainstorms.
