When the sun goes down, Truckee-Tahoe’s dark skies give way to a sky full of stars! Many Truckee neighborhoods are dark enough to view a spectacular night sky, but for a breathtaking interstellar experience, head to your favorite trail. Wide open meadows are best for an unobstructed view of shooting stars, constellations, and more.
